TAG E-Karting débarque à Québec

Alexandre Tagliani confirms the upcoming opening of his new entertainment center in Québec City: TAG E-Karting. Scheduled for spring 2027, this major $18 million project will be located at Promenades Beauport.

The complex features two multi-level electric karting tracks, each over 300 meters long, designed with a mix of curves and straightaways like a real race circuit. When combined, they form a 616-meter super track, the longest indoor track in Canada.

The tracks, built using European materials, are designed to absorb impacts. Forty karts, imported from Italy, are equipped with compressible bodywork. An advanced IT system manages real-time geolocation and speed control of the karts, allowing for targeted interventions without interrupting sessions.

Spanning 72,000 square feet, the concept features a 7D cinema, racing simulators, bowling lanes, laser tag, arcades, an axe-throwing cube, a sports-style restaurant, and corporate event rooms. TAG E-Karting is a complete entertainment destination under one roof. At full capacity, the complex will create 120 new jobs.

Backed by a strong investment structure, TAG eKarting brings together a seasoned group of business leaders, including Vincent Chiara, president of Groupe Mach, who is both an investor and the landlord of the future development. Also involved are Donald Theetge and Benoît Theetge, well-known automotive dealers representing multiple brands in Québec City. Joining in a personal capacity is Richard Scofield of Groupe St-Hubert, bringing valuable expertise in the restaurant industry with a well-established reputation.

“This project is part of a long-term, sustainable vision to create dynamic spaces that meet the expectations of citizens and contribute to local economic development,” emphasizes Vincent Chiara, President of Groupe Mach.

“Our ambition is to build a strong brand, not just an activity. TAG E-Karting is a place where people come to drive, dine, connect, and enjoy a complete experience. We are confident that people in Québec City and the surrounding areas will have an incredible time sharing this passion with us,” explains Alexandre Tagliani, still a NASCAR driver—let’s not forget—and founder of TAG E-Karting.
